The seven-day incidence rose above the 700 threshold in Schleswig-Holstein on Monday.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants reported within a week was 717.1 after 665.6 the day before.

On Monday last week, the value was significantly lower - at 587.3.

3811 new corona infections were reported, as can be seen from the data from the state registration office in Kiel.

Kiel – Exactly one week earlier there were 3440. Seven more corona deaths were reported – the total number since the beginning of the pandemic has risen to 1922.

The hospitalization incidence, which is important for corona measures and indicates how many corona patients per 100,000 people came to clinics within a week, rose to 4.6 (Sunday: 4.26).

There were 294 patients suffering from Covid-19 in the hospitals.

263 were reported on Friday and over the weekend.

The number of Covid 19 patients in intensive care units rose to 60 (+2), 36 of them were ventilated.

Among the districts in Schleswig-Holstein there is no longer a seven-day incidence over 1000 on Monday. Kiel has the highest value with 984.2 (Sunday: 1032.8).

This is followed by Segeberg with 979.8 and Lübeck with 969.7.

Plön has the lowest incidence in Schleswig-Holstein with 415.9.
