Ski accident on the Zugspitze: 30-year-old woman was seriously injured

The seriously injured skier was flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter.

GAP / Zugspitze- On the afternoon of January 15, a 30-year-old skier from North Rhine-Westphalia skied down a ski slope in the Wetterwandeck area of the Zugspitze.
For reasons that have not yet been clarified, she fell and was found lying behind a crest by following skiers with serious injuries.
She was immediately given first aid by mountain rescue personnel who had been summoned.
The 30-year-old was unconscious and taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter with serious injuries.
She is still being treated there for serious injuries.
Witnesses of the fall are asked to contact the police.
