A suspect in causing a serious car accident managed to escape last night (Monday) from the police, while being held at the hospital for medical treatment.

The police claimed that a judge of the Magistrate's Court in Kfar Saba ordered the removal of handcuffs and handcuffs, for medical reasons, in a way that allowed him to escape.

Ramla police arrested a city resident over the weekend after he allegedly caused a serious car accident with a large number of people involved.

The suspect was arrested while trying to escape from the police and then the court approved an extension of the detention of the suspect, who is even being rushed to the hospital.

On the night of the arrest, the detainee's attorney filed a petition in court, arguing that the suspect's medical condition apparently did not allow him to be handcuffed to bed.

The judge granted the petition, despite police opposition, and ruled that the detainee's restraint should be removed.

The suspect took advantage of the fact that he was not handcuffed and fled the medical center.

A police officer who was present near his room bounced off additional forces that are currently conducting searches inside and outside the building.

The district commander, Superintendent Avi Bitton, said that the circumstances of the incident should be "examined, in all its aspects."
