Thomas Gottschalk moderates "Wetten, dass ..?" two more times on ZDF.
Munich – Thomas Gottschalk did it again for the anniversary: he again moderated a “Wetten, dass ..?” show with Michelle Hunziker.
It should be a unique revival, a reminder of earlier times.
Among the guests were Helene Fischer and ABBA and Gottschalk whistle "Great, the bet counts!".
It should be a mega hit with dream ratings.
Around 13.8 million viewers watched the 40-year edition.
Hints followed that there could be other such programs.
Now it's fixed: Thomas Gottschalk will definitely be in front of the camera two more times for "Wetten, dass...?" on ZDF.
That's what the broadcaster announced.
Once each in 2022 and 2023.
ZDF entertainment boss Oliver Heidemann explained: “The response from the TV audience was overwhelming.
Together with Thomas Gottschalk we decided to tell the story of 'Wetten, dass..?'
to keep writing.
From now on, all betting ideas are welcome again.”
