A suspect was indicted on Sunday for murder in an organized gang and kidnapping after the death of a young man last week in Seine-et-Marne, the prosecutor of Meaux announced on Monday January 17 to AFP.

A 22-year-old young man died of stab wounds on the evening of January 10 at Meaux hospital, shortly after being attacked near a deal point in the neighboring town of Nanteuil-lès- Meaux. He was accompanied by a 19-year-old young man, who had only superficial cuts to his arms and hands.

," said Meaux prosecutor Laureline Peyrefitte to AFP.
The suspect was indicted on the first two counts and placed in pre-trial detention, she added, without giving further details on his profile.

The investigation is entrusted to the judicial police of Meaux.
