The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 31 deaths and 1,232 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
And the official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, stated in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 401,308, and the total number of deaths has reached 22,179.
Abdul Ghaffar pointed out that 1,100 people recovered from the virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 334,629 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 25 deaths and 1,197 infections with the Corona virus.
