A fire broke out in Shamjing Lido Garden. Today (18th) at 12:34 noon, a low-rise unit in Block 4, Lido Garden, No. 41-63, Shamjing Section, Castle Peak Road, burst into flames. Many people reported the incident and 40 residents were evacuated. to a safe underground location.
Firefighters dispatched a hose and a team of smoke hats to fight the fire and successfully extinguished the fire.
The two men involved in the fire were taken to hospital for treatment.
It is understood that the above site is suspected to be undergoing renovation.
