Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in Al-Bireh in the West Bank today, called on the international community and human rights and human rights organizations to urgently intervene and pressure the Israeli occupation to release the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer.

Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigil organized by the institutions of the prisoners and the national forces in front of the Al-Amari camp in the city of Al-Bireh raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of the prisoner Abu Hamid, stressing the need to continue supporting the prisoners and solidarity with them in light of the violations and brutal practices they are subjected to by the occupation amid deliberate medical neglect against them. .

The participants stressed the need for the international community to exert all forms of pressure on the occupation to release the prisoners and enable the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights, foremost of which is the right to self-determination and to live in freedom and dignity like other peoples of the world.

The cities of the West Bank witness daily solidarity vigils in support of the prisoner Abu Hamid, who has been detained since 2002, calling for his immediate release, especially after his health recently deteriorated and he was in a coma and placed on a respirator due to his suffering from the consequences of the operation to remove a cancerous tumor in the lungs.
