Well, especially delicious things happen.

For days full of all good things, the chefs - Michael Gertofsky from "Vanya Bistro", Motti Titman from "Malgo and Malbar", Hillel Tuvkoli from "Animer" and Yachi Zino from "Pescado" - ate every worthy and delicious bite in the city that Israelis love to love.

The coveted trip was accompanied by an endless sip from the official capital of Barcelona, ​​Asteria Dam.

Upon their return to Israel, the talented quartet gathered for local action.

The inspiration they drew brought to us and thus opened the "Stars of Austria" this week.

In honor of the joyous occasion, I decided to make my way to the city of Ashdod.

We have known for some time that one of the best and most talked about restaurants in the country is located in front of the Ashdod coast - "Pescado" by Yachi Zino, of course.

A small afternoon and the restaurant is crowded, long live Zeno in the kitchen and with him his erupting and good energies.

He cooks his food with a smile and it is noticeable in the taste.


Inspired by the beer and the formation journey in Barcelona, ​​he turns his restaurant into a tapas bar for just one evening.

Wonderful small dishes of fish come out in saucers to the table, next to them shimmer fried and faithful pedron peppers, but also thin and crispy artichokes shrubs love to fry.

Yachi, who ties the light and sage taste of Spanish beer, manages to give its roots the stage without abandoning its Ashdod roots for even a moment.

Each of the chefs will host a special and one-off evening at a restaurant with a menu inspired by the culinary scene of Barcelona, ​​and accompanied by a bottle of Astra Dame for the diner.

The meals will take place on January 17-22, 2022 when last night (Monday) the "Stars of Asteria" week opens on January 17 with Motti Titman, who served a meal in the atmosphere of 'Spanish Extravaganda' from the exciting Spanish cuisine at Malgo and Melbar restaurant.

Today, chef Hillel Tuvkoli will serve a delicious meal inspired by Barcelona's markets 'La Boqueria' at the Animar restaurant in Tel Aviv.

On 19.1, chef Michael Gertofsky will serve a meal inspired by traditional Spain with a contemporary twist 'Viva Espania' at the "Vanya Bistro" restaurant in Haifa.

And at the end of the spectacular week, on January 22, Chef Yachi Zino will present a Spanish fish celebration at Pescado.
