Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz and Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman agreed today (Tuesday) that 30-25 million antigen tests will be distributed free of charge to Israeli citizens.
Distribution of assessments is expected to begin over the next week, depending on the logistical preparations.
An exact date will be announced later.
It should be noted that in other countries, all citizens deserve free antigen testing.
According to the outline published, most of the tests will be distributed to children and nursing homes.
Support for welfare populations is very minimal, and students and workers in vital enterprises do not yet have a permanent outline.
In the education system, six antigen test kits will be distributed to each student for two weeks - and then they will consider a second pulse.
The distribution will be made by the Ministries of Health and Education, and the local authorities.
The geriatric hospitals and nursing homes will be transferred by the Ministry of Health 2.5 million tests, which will be distributed by them between the treating staff and the patient population.
About 25,000 seniors cared for in day care centers will receive three test kits a week, for three weeks.
The Prime Minister stressed that "value considerations" guided the manner of distribution.
About 450,000 welfare-supported families will each receive 20 antigen tests by the Ministry of Welfare, the Home Front Command and local authorities.
