Furstenfeldbruck - The Audi of a 33-year-old woman caught fire on Monday, January 17, after she caused an accident while pulling out of a parking lot.
The woman from Landsberied drove her car from the parking lot of a game library onto the streets of "Hasenheide" at around 2:10 p.m. and overlooked a Mercedes coming from the left.
Its driver, a 57-year-old woman from Mammendorf, was unable to brake in time and there was a collision, explains Police Chief Inspector Oliver Erhardt.
The Landsberiederin's Audi threw itself against a parked truck and immediately caught fire due to leaking engine oil.
"First aiders came to the two women's aid and were able to quickly extinguish the fire in the engine compartment," Erhardt continues.
The two drivers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The accident caused damage of 22,000 euros.
