come on.

This is the reason why Itamar Ami is suing Shani Kedar

Itamar Ami from the program "Wedding at First Sight" did not calm down with time.

After taking a PR office to protect him, he "returned" on Twitter to whoever was talking about him - now he is suing one of the women who wrote a post about him on Facebook, and the platform that shared it. Why them? Jenny Danson has a hypothesis

Itamar Ami Interview (Impact Content Services)

My name is Jenny Danson and I have been writing in this section since it was founded.

Opinion columns, light-hearted investigations, lists of hot men and high-profile quarrels - give me a trash and I'll form an opinion on it and put it out in a few hundred words.

My favorite subject is without a doubt participants of reality shows.

Big Brother intrigues, survival quarrels, love stories in "Wedding" - if it was on TV and interested the audience, I would like to write a column about it.

Have you seen our Facebook and Instagram?

I stopped counting how many times I wrote about "wedding" participants - there were columns that spoke in favor of some participants, and others dismantled their relationships to the factors.

Before you ask - no, I'm not a psychologist, just a woman who tries to understand situations from the side, and usually conveys my personal point of view without establishing official facts other than what happens in each episode.

Why am I doing this?

Exactly for the same reason that the people on the other side of the screen do what they do - because I want to.

After all, reality participants do not get up one morning and discover that the world around them is full of cameras that follow every step.

They send in an application form, come to an interview (then another interview and another interview), sign forms, contracts and agreements, ask for time off work, sign the family members on consent forms for photography, coordinate a schedule - all for the opportunity to allow a photography team to follow them, take photos Them and then show them on TV.It does not matter if they do it to be famous, promote a project, find love or just add some color to their gray life - the bottom line is that they work hard to win a chance to be on screen - and it's a bit naive to watch on the way No one will express their opinion on them.

Then I read an article about Itamar Ami (well, it's a signer) suing Shani Kedar who wrote a post about him that went viral, and the "Politically Reading" magazine that shared the post. The first thing I did was send the article to my editor and write "Why did I never get a threat in the lawsuit ?!". Because with all due respect, this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of.

After all, Ami is not really suing because he was hurt by the words of Shani Kedar - he is mostly angry because instead of becoming a sexy heartbreaker that filters girls on the right and left, he has become a controversial man who needs to explain himself and maintains Instagram with only 23,000 followers. , The bread and butter of reality refugees in the corona-era period without launches. Maybe he's a really nice person who didn't look good because of a trending edit, but that's the risk he took when he came to this show, and just as he would ride his dusty wave of fame if he came out well, so he can not complain when he comes out bad.

No matter how much they tell us about editing and that reality shows are one big lie, editing can exaggerate a personality, but it can not invent it. Each character in these shows is a grotesque and cartoonish version, but it is the grotesque and cartoonish version of the real person in front of the camera. Just like Shai, who looks like just a nice guy, came out like a rag in love who is ready for anything, and just as Shani came out a tree-hugging spiritualist even though she must be an ordinary girl who loves yoga, so Itamar came out of Tel Aviv busy with himself - and if anyone can blame, then first himself, And then the editors - but not the woman who wrote a post about him and the magazine he shared.

Do you know why he does choose to sue? And again, I'm writing my personal opinion here, yes? So do not sue me. I think the reason he's suing a "normal" woman and magazine that most of us had to do Google to figure out what he is, is - because it's more applicable.

After all, who painted him as the same evil and violent man?

Is this really a second and "politically read"?

Or asked the editors and producers of "Wedding"?

And why Shani and 'political'?

Why not sue each of the three biggest magazines on the net - which have written no less poignant things about it every week?

Why not attack the channel or advertisers?

Is it because it's a little hard to go out in front of big, powerful entities that have a budget just for throwing such silly lawsuits into where they belong, or is it because it would ruin any chance of ever getting back in the spotlight based entirely on relationships and the need to love you?

Could it be that this lawsuit came to Shani and ‘politically’ just because they were just, but exactly what he needed - a relatively small and financially weak body, with no commercial backing behind him but yes with a platform large enough to bring significant exposure?

"Political" announced, following the lawsuit, that they are an association whose "annual turnover barely reaches NIS 200,000," so Ami should understand two things here:

1. Even if he wins, there is no chance that they will be able to pay him a quarter of a million shekels. The maximum he will get is the right to rejoice when they close and declare bankruptcy.

2. They do not have the ability to defend themselves significantly, so this is "easy prey".

I do not know why he decided to run ahead with the lawsuit, I'm just saying that from the side it looks like someone trying to be strong on weaker than him.

And with all due respect to Itamar and his injured honor, someone who came to TV to be known and then tries to trample on anyone who expresses an opinion about him because he feels he knows him - he is not a charming and considerate person.

I have a few words to describe it, but well, I do not have the strength to explain it later to our legal department.
