The authorities announced this morning that 62 designated places will be included in the mandatory testing notice.

The Government requires anyone who has contacted or handled hamsters shipped from overseas to Hong Kong on or after 22 December 2021 (including but not limited to (1) those who have been involved in the transportation or temporary storage of such hamsters, (2) who have handled Persons with quarantine matters of such hamsters, or (3) full-time, part-time and vacant employees of the pet store in possession of such hamsters, etc.), or who have contacted or handled purchases or possessions on or after December 22, 2021 hamsters (including but not limited to (1) purchased, possessed or kept in custody on or after December 22, 2021.
