Corona incidence continues to rise: more new admissions to clinics

The corona incidence in Hesse continued to rise on Tuesday.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the number of reported new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days reached 676.7 after 626.7 on the previous day.
6,969 new infections and six other deaths were registered within 24 hours.
Nationally, there have been 556 since the pandemic began.
Wiesbaden/Berlin - 833 registered infections and 8678 deaths related to the corona virus.
According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, the hospitalization incidence, which is important for the pandemic assessment, rose to 3.16 on Tuesday after 2.64 the day before;
a week ago the number had been 3.18.
The value indicates how many Covid 19 patients per 100,000 inhabitants were admitted to clinics within seven days.

The situation in the intensive care units is reasonably stable.
According to the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (Divi), 204 adult patients with a confirmed Covid 19 infection were treated in the intensive care units of Hessian hospitals on Tuesday.
114 of them had to be ventilated (as of 11:05 a.m.).
On Tuesday, 18 of 21 counties and all five independent cities were considered hotspots.
Where the incidence is above 350 for several days in a row, stricter rules apply.
With 1220, the city of Frankfurt has the highest number of reported new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.
