Microsoft is doing the unbelievable and is acquiring the developer of Activision-Blizzard - the developer of the Voice of Duty, Diablo, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft brands for about $ 68.7 billion.
We are currently talking about the company's largest acquisition and the gaming industry ever.
The acquisition has not yet been finalized, but both Microsoft and Activision-Blizzard have released an official announcement on websites and networks that the developer team will need the Xbox gaming division in the near future.
Once the deal is finalized, Microsoft plans to add Blizzard Games to the Game Pass service, the company's monthly paid gaming library that contains hundreds of games.
Until that happens, Activision-Blizzard will continue to function independently.

The deal comes after a long period of cases of employee abuse, gender discrimination, lawsuits by the company's employees for sexual harassment and rendering by executives, including the company's CEO - Bobby Kotik
. Take-Two, which acquired mobile developer Zynga for $ 12.7 billion,
is not Microsoft's first major acquisition, and last year it acquired Zenimax Corporation and with it Bethesda, which is responsible for developing games such as Fallout, Dom, Wolfenstein, Dishonored and many other shooting titles. In a deal worth $ 7.5 billion.
