Margit Schlagl mourns her love Miguel.

He died of pneumonia.

She also tries to save her horse ranch because of missing payments.

Fuerteventura – Margit Schlagl (54) moved to Fuerteventura in 2003, accompanied by the TV show “Goodbye Germany”.

The reason was her relationship with Gerhard "Gerd" Kollman, which broke up in 2019 after 16 years.

The two still produce aloe vera products together as business partners and currently have a ranch with 18 horses.

Together they are currently trying to save their ranch, because the Corona crisis hit them hard with the loss of tourism.

Only a few locals came for riding lessons.

Many people helped out with donations, because it costs 280 euros per horse per month, Kollmann lists.

After separating from her longtime partner Kollman, a new man came into her life, Miguel.

“There are incredible moments of bliss when two adults in their early 50s splash around in the surf silly.

That's wonderful," Margit enthused about her relationship in the VOX interview a few months ago.

The Spaniard was homeless for years until Margit took him in, according to the VOX program.

Now all that is in the past, Margit is in great mourning for her former partner.

Miguel died of pneumonia, she says.

In "Goodbye Germany" she shows a room with pink painted walls that has become their home together, as she says while standing in the room.

"Not for long, but it was a good time.

Very good,” she says through tears.

The sadness is still deep.

The "Goodbye Germany" star experienced a real agony from Miguel, as she describes. Miguel was "suffocated second by second, minute by minute," according to TV fame. "I have so much anger inside me, I can't get rid of it," continues Margit. "For the first time in my life I felt like I was there. [...] I am uprooted”, Margit Schlagl mourns with tears. "I still feel like nothing."

Another emigrant reported that she was robbed. Others opened a beauty café with hyaluron and collagen.
