Five employees hospitalized for respiratory irritation

Five employees were taken to the hospital as a precaution because of respiratory irritation caused by granules that had leaked out on the premises of a logistics company in Düsseldorf.
When being loaded onto a truck on Tuesday, a piece of freight leaked, said a spokesman for the fire brigade.
Several hundred grams of granules escaped.

According to the information, the leaked granules could be collected with a special vacuum cleaner.
According to the fire department, the danger has been averted.
73 emergency services were involved in the operation.
Among them were firefighters in chemical protective suits.
