District – The police departments in the district of Starnberg oversaw five meetings in connection with the corona pandemic on Monday evening.
The local inspections were supported, among others, by the Bavarian riot police.
Due to the general decree issued in advance by the Starnberg District Office, the police in the Starnberg city area, the municipalities of Gilching, Gauting and Herrsching were “prepared with strong forces”, according to their own statements.
The local inspections were extensively supported by the Bavarian riot police, the central supplementary services of the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North and the Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police.
From the police's point of view, the meetings ran smoothly.
Meetings in Starnberg, Gauting, Gilching, Pöcking and Herrsching
After a short-term decision by the Munich Administrative Court, the general decree was no longer enforceable in the early evening.
The emergency services therefore had to take care of five meetings in the city of Starnberg and the communities of Gauting, Gilching, Pöcking and Herrsching from 6 p.m. (as of 9 p.m.) that were not registered.
The district office of Starnberg and the various police departments coordinated closely in the evening with regard to the non-enforceable general decree.
Police speak of "no problems"
According to their own statements, the police ensured that all of the meetings mentioned “went smoothly in every respect”.
The police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North and its subordinate departments will continue to be in constant, close contact with the district office of Starnberg.
The police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North again warns to register meetings in advance.
The authorities are pursuing two goals: planning the course of the meeting in terms of safe implementation and minimizing the disruption to the uninvolved population.
