The Geretsried police are investigating a previously unknown BMW driver for coercion.

He is said to have braked another driver and verbally abused and spat at a second driver.

Geretsried – The incident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday.

Three vehicles were involved, driving south on the B11.

First, according to the police, a silver-colored BMW drove at a moderate speed in the left lane of the B11.

An 18-year-old from Wolfratshauser then wanted to overtake his car on the right.

"He didn't succeed because the BMW driver changed lanes several times and reduced his speed considerably."

situation escalates

The situation escalated shortly before the junction with Blumenstrasse: the BMW driver slammed on the brakes despite the green traffic light.

The 18-year-old was only just able to avoid a rear-end collision.

A Wolfratshauser (43) driving behind observed the incident.

He stopped next to the BMW.

A battle of words ensued, in which the BMW driver insulted the man next to him with rude insults.

He also spat the 43-year-old through the open window into the car.

The two Wolfratshausers were able to note the license plate number of the BMW and filed a complaint.

The police are now investigating the driver.

Witnesses who also observed the incident or who were slowed down are asked to call 0 81 71/9 35 10.
