The prosecution has submitted to the district court the amended indictment in the "municipal justice" case • According to the arrangement, Revivo will pay an additional fine of NIS 20,000 and receive a suspended sentence

The Tax and Economics Prosecutor's Office today (Tuesday) filed an amended indictment against Haim Revivo in the district court as part of a plea deal with it.

The indictment was filed in the "Urban Justice" case that was included in the indictment against MK David Bitan, Tel Aviv Deputy Mayor Arnon Giladi and others.

According to the arrangement, Revivo will plead guilty to breach of trust in his relationship with Giladi and the parties will ask the court for consent to sentence him to four months' imprisonment for community service, a fine of NIS 20,000 and a suspended sentence.

According to the amended indictment, Revivo, along with others, was the developer and owner of a construction project in Tel Aviv.

After encountering difficulties arising from the project's building permit, Revivo turned to Arnon Giladi, who served as a member of the local planning and construction committee, for assistance.

Giladi worked to help Revivo solve the difficulties, among other things, by contacting professional officials at the municipality.

During a meeting between Giladi and Revivo in November 2017, Giladi asked Revivo for funds to fund party activities that he promoted.

Revivo complied with the request and then transferred NIS 10,000 registered to the "Our Tel Aviv Urban Justice" ordinance, which was presented to Revivo as an association.

Revivo transferred to Giladi the said amount knowing that Giladi was acting in his role to promote the project and that the transfer placed Giladi in a conflict of interest between his duties as a public servant and Revivo's interests arising from the ties between them and the transfer of the money.

Giladi is accused of taking bribes from Revivo and others, while presenting that the funds were intended to promote the association's activities, when in practice there was no association and the funds he requested and took were intended to fund various events and activities aimed at cultivating his public image and promoting his candidacy.

The case is being investigated by the National Fraud Investigation Unit at Blade 433 of the Israel Police in cooperation with the Tax Authority and the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, and is being handled by attorneys Etty Ben-Dor, Yael Schneider, Adi Applebaum-Grozman, Roy Gordon and Tomer Wirt of the Tax and Economics Attorney's Office. , In the office of another Ilan Sofer, confirmed that a settlement will be submitted to the court.
