District - get to know young people from all over the world, bring in creative ideas and bring the region around the Starnberg and Ammersee closer to the young guests.
If that appeals to you and you are between 14 and 18 years old, you should get in touch with the planning team for the international youth camp in Possenhofen.
The International Youth Camp (IYC) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The meeting leisure time should take place under the motto "Get together - 20 years of IYC" from July 29th to August 5th in the youth hostel in Possenhofen. An exciting program is to be worked out for this purpose: unusual excursions, sporting activities and cultural encounters are in the foreground. In order to set up such a program, the municipal youth work of the Starnberg District Office is looking for a young planning team between the ages of 14 and 18 with creative ideas and a desire and mood to be part of the IYC itself. Of course, the international encounter leisure time will take place in compliance with the applicable Corona regulations.
The international youth camp was held for the first time as part of the 100th anniversary of the district in 2002 and the new youth hostel in Possenhofen, which opened at the same time.
Young people from the partner communities of our communities, the city of Starnberg and the district are invited.
It has been held every two years since then.
English is the main language spoken during the International Youth Camp.
It is an offer for young adults between the ages of 14 and 20.
Interested parties can contact Saskia Geipel from the municipal youth work of the district office on 08151/148 -77194 or by email at Saskia.Geipel@lra-starnberg.de.
