"We will always be together with them (Latin American countries) so that they advance in democracy, prosperity and social justice," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, José Manuel Albares.

"In the case of Nicaragua (...) what happened was a mockery of democracy and we demand the release of political prisoners," added the official.
