Step by step, the British royal family is distancing itself more and more from Prince Andrew, who will probably have to endure more humiliation.

London – Thanks to his abuse scandal and the looming civil lawsuit, Prince Andrew (61), formerly the Queen's (95), has become the Windsors' black sheep.

Just a few days ago, the queen withdrew all military titles and patronage from her son, as reported by 24royal.de, the next public insult is to follow.

The withdrawal of the title, which was made public shortly after the abuse lawsuit against Prince Andrew was admitted, apparently hit the 61-year-old hard.

As a palace source confided to the Mirror, the prince was in tears when he received the news.

The decision will not have been easy for the Queen, but some of her employees seem to welcome her momentous decision.

The newspaper "Daily Mail" claims to have learned that Buckingham Palace employees even want to relieve Andrew of another important role.

Prince Andrew has already lost his military titles, but he is sticking to his ducal title (icon image).

Queen Elizabeth II's staff reportedly want to strip the renegade Duke of York of his role as Counselor of State.

The same fate apparently also awaits his nephew Prince Harry (37), who also had to give up his military titles and patronage in the course of his departure from the royal family.

The Council of State, which takes over the duties of the monarch in the event of illness, for example, is made up of four adult members of the Royal Family and is based on the succession to the throne.

In addition to Prince Andrew and Prince Harry, Prince Charles (73) and Prince William (39) currently hold the role of "Counselor of State".
