In the face of the fifth wave of the epidemic that has come quickly and rapidly in recent days, the Hospital Authority has reopened the community treatment facilities at the AsiaWorld-Expo earlier this month to prepare for a tsunami-like surge in cases.

I went to the "Visit Class" in Yabo earlier to learn about the discharge process of this 𥚃 patient.

Seeing the patients being discharged from the hospital dragging bags of "family belongings" after another, their tired faces formed a strong contrast to the joy and excitement on the patients' faces when they were discharged from the hospital during the second and third waves a year ago!

It's easy to understand that everyone is suffering from anti-epidemic fatigue after nearly two years of fighting against the epidemic.

Citizens wear masks at all times, maintain social distance, reduce gatherings, and abide by various epidemic prevention policies every day.

If you are unfortunate enough to contract the virus, you will have to be quarantined, and you will not be able to travel abroad for relaxation, and you will not even be able to return home.

Having said that, once every citizen is quarantined, no matter how rich or wealthy you are on weekdays, your clothing, food, and housing are the same as ordinary people. There is no choice, and everyone is equal.

Medical staff in public hospitals have been at the forefront of the fight against the epidemic for two years.

Among them, the scene where Yabo appeared, I was particularly impressed.

At that time, medical staff were handling the discharge monitoring wristbands and app for patients, explaining isolation orders and precautions for home isolation to patients preparing to be discharged from the hospital.

Suddenly, a tall and muscular middle-aged man appeared in front of him. He was dressed in a leather jacket and was carrying a high-end suitcase. At first glance, he would be estimated to be a well-mannered executive. treatment and become vexatious.

When his colleague asked him to take out the documents to check, he threw the documents from the briefcase to the colleague!

Facing this situation, my colleagues not only did not get angry, but patiently explained to him and tried their best to comfort him. I watched from the side, thinking of two words - "professional".

In fact, anti-epidemic fatigue is more than ordinary citizens?

A group of medical staff who are on the front line of the fight against the epidemic are under the work pressure brought by the fight against the epidemic every day. Take the COVID-19 rapid antigen test before going to work to prevent nosocomial infection.

At the same time, front-line colleagues are also busy deploying manpower, and they are preparing to vaccinate citizens with Fubitai or Sinovac vaccines in general outpatient clinics, so as to speed up the vaccination rate of citizens.

When the epidemic hit earlier, a group of medical staff worked together to quickly set up community isolation facilities, community treatment facilities, and community vaccination centers.

In addition to daily hospital work, every medical staff is also mentally prepared to join the army at any time to fight the virus on the battlefield.

This is what I want to call "professionalism". When doctors and nurses put on uniforms, they stand at the forefront of the fight against the epidemic and shoulder the mission of protecting citizens. Although they are under pressure from family, work and society at the same time, they are not discouraged. Instead, they are more attentive. More effort to fight this battle.

As far as I know, doctors and nurses have carefully planned for patients. If possible, family members of confirmed cases who are scattered in the Hong Kong Infection Control Center and Community Treatment Facilities of North Lantau Hospital should be arranged to receive treatment in the same place, so that they can be reunited as a family. , focus on taking care of your body.

There are also medical staff who don't care to use their rest time to make phone calls around, "rushing" to the quarantine hotel for patients who meet the discharge conditions, hoping that the patients can find a place to stay as soon as possible.

All of these demonstrate the "professional" attitude and selfless dedication of the medical staff. When they are busy treating patients, they do not forget to take care of the mental health of the patients.

I sincerely admire my colleagues for being so "professional" before and after the epidemic, Salute to you all!

Recently, some experts predicted that the epidemic may be coming to an end. I hope this is the most accurate prediction for 2022, but before dawn is often the darkest. Seeing that the Omicron variant virus has made a new high in the number of confirmed cases around the world, everyone must be prepared. In the darkness before dawn, take care of your body and pay attention to your own mental state. When you feel out of breath mentally, remember to ask someone for help, and don't let yourself fall down!

"Hong Kong 01" "01 Clinic", in cooperation with the Hospital Authority, publishes a column "Garden Tour" written by medical staff every Wednesday.

Apricot Forest.

"Xinglin" comes from the story of Dong Feng, a famous doctor in the Three Kingdoms period. Later generations praised medical care as "Xinglin". Four people from Xinglin from the Hospital Authority led the garden to visit Xinglin Grand View Garden. A little bit of reason.

Sheung Shui, Siu Sai Wan and Lei Muk Shue have added 3 mobile vaccination points. 11 outpatient clinics of the HA will be transferred to Fubitai's new crown vaccine | Civil servants who have not been vaccinated will inspect the HA every three days: actively consider promoting the same arrangement
