The St. Wolfgang fire brigade needs a new equipment house.
The municipality has acquired a plot of land for a new location on the B 15 through road in St. Wolfgang.
St. Wolfgang
– A new location for the St. Wolfgang fire brigade has been requested for years. The question of land was considered the biggest problem up until now and has now finally been resolved. Mayor Ullrich Gaigl (FW) said this when asked. During an on-site visit at the new location on the B 15 in the middle of town, Gaigl, the commanders Florian Axenböck, Dominik Lechner and Ludwig Pointer and planner Thomas Seisenberger explained the project in broad terms. The construction of the tool shed is the focus of tomorrow's public municipal council meeting at 7.30 p.m. in the Goldachhalle.
Finding a suitable area was not easy, reported Gaigl.
But now the municipality has been able to acquire a “very suitable piece of land”.
The approximately 6000 square meter area is located directly on the B 15 through road and is part of the large green area just before the Agip petrol station.
Details such as the purchase price did not and should not betray.
Also about the costs of the project one could say “nothing at all at the moment”.
It is clear, however, that it will be a "million investment", said the mayor.
The municipal council had already agreed that the fire brigade needed an equipment house at a new location.
Details would be announced and discussed on Wednesday.
The main focus is on the decision for a project-related development plan for the "St. Wolfgang fire brigade equipment house" and early citizen participation.
The project is to be expedited by a working group.
A new location has been urgently needed for a long time, emphasized commander and fire department officer Florian Axenböck.
No sensible solution emerged for an extension to the existing building.
In the current equipment house with only three exits, but five vehicles, it is far too narrow.
When moving out for emergency operations, dangerous situations repeatedly occurred and last year there was an accident, fortunately without personal injury.
The new location directly on the B 15 is "very suitable".
He and his two deputies will now focus primarily on planning this year.
Due to a commercial request, the designation of a special area "Photovoltaik Armstorf" along the A 94 near Reit is another topic of the municipal council meeting.
