Prince Harry wants to take legal action - if necessary - to obtain police protection in his native England.

The police in charge are now speaking up.

London – Prince Harry once again upsets the royal family.

After turning his back on the British royal court, he is no longer entitled to police protection in his home country.

That's why Harry now fears for his safety and that of his wife Meghan and their two children.

If necessary, he wants to go to court to get the necessary protection.

What the responsible police think about it, she now communicated in clear words.

Prince Harry: "Inherited security risk for life"

Prince Harry argues he has inherited a "life safety hazard".

After all, the royal offspring did not choose to be sixth in line to the throne, but was born into this life.

“Prince Harry inherited a life security hazard at birth.

[...] in recent years his family has faced well-documented threats from neo-Nazis and extremists," the

Daily Mail

quotes Harry's lawyers as saying.

Prince Harry has bodyguards, but they don't have the necessary intelligence and can't offer the same level of protection as the police, the argument goes.

Harry's legal adviser added in a statement that he would "very gladly" pay for the costs himself and not burden the taxpayer under any circumstances.

London police 'not for hire only if you feel like it Harry'

The responsible police in London does not seem to follow Prince Harry's argument.

Police experts have pointed out that Scotland Yard does not have a pool of specially trained officers sitting around waiting to be called into action.

"You can't just hire Scotland Yard's services whenever you feel like it," according to the

Daily Mail

, sources from London's Metropolitan Police Service, also known as the Met or Scotland Yard for short.

A court could soon decide how the dispute between Harry, Meghan and the royal family ends.
