The branch of the Syrian Trade Establishment in Quneitra governorate has rented about 30 tons of citrus from Lattakia governorate during the past two days.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Firas Mahawish, indicated to SANA reporter that the citrus sourcing operations are continuing and that two outlets have been allocated for sale, namely, Khan Arnaba Hall in the northern countryside as a main center and Nabe’ al-Sakhr hall to cover the needs of citizens in the southern countryside, at lower prices than those in the markets.
During the past few days, Al-Suriyia Trade borrowed more than 350 tons of citrus from Lattakia farmers and marketed them to its branches in several governorates, including Damascus, Homs and As-Suwayda.
