Police officers raided an industrial building on San Ping Street in Tuen Mun at about 4 pm today (18th) and smashed a party room suspected of illegal operation. The room was equipped with singing and audio equipment.
During the operation, a 66-year-old local female responsible person was charged for allegedly contravening the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Ordinance (Cap. 599F).
Another 13 men and 6 women, aged between 43 and 87, who were present were suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (Cap. 599G) and fixed penalty notices were issued to them.

The Police appeal to members of the public to take care of themselves and others and strictly abide by the relevant epidemic prevention regulations to help control the epidemic and reduce the risk of the virus spreading in the community.
The police will continue to enforce the law strictly.
