Actress Betty White was scheduled to celebrate her 100th birthday yesterday (Monday), but passed away two and a half weeks ago on New Year’s Eve.
After Google's moving tribute to her beloved star, her longtime personal assistant, Kirsten, decided yesterday to share a photo from the late star's Facebook account of White's last days, and addressed her fans with an exciting message.
"Hello everyone! Here's Kirsten, Betty's assistant," she wrote.
"On this special day I wanted to share this picture of Betty. It was taken on December 20. I believe this is one of her last pictures. She was radiant and beautiful and happier than ever. Thank you to those of you who do beautiful things today and every day to make the world a good place. More".
White passed away on December 31, 11 days after the photo was taken, as a result of a stroke she suffered six days before her death.
A documentary called "Betty White: A Celebration" about it was released yesterday in the United States and is screened in 1,500 cinemas across America.
The film features interviews with a host of colleagues and actors who have worked with her, including Ryan Reynolds, Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, Tina Fey, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, James Corden and others.

Among other things, the film will include the star's last interview, which she gave on December 20, that is, on the day a photo was taken that she shared yesterday, along with White's last message to her fans.
