The name probably doesn't mean much to you and yet, this vegetable oil produced in South America was, in just a few weeks, out of stock on the Aroma-Zone site.
"I had never heard of it myself
," concedes Pascale Ruberti, research and development manager for the organic and natural ingredients e-shop.
But our ingredient expert convinced us of its anti-aging benefits: it is indeed an oil that is much richer in retinol than rosehip oil and contains more vitamin E than argan oil.
We thought we could hold out with our batch until March, but everything has been sold, and the next harvest taking place in the spring, we only plan to put it back online at the beginning of June.
For some time now, there has been a real demand for minimalist cosmetics using only vegetable oils, plant powders, floral waters and hydrosols or even seeds.”
