As the judges finally address the merits of the case - the proceedings opened on September 8, 2021 - the attitude of the defendants who risk life imprisonment, including Mohamed Abrini, Osama Krayem and Salah Abdeslam, sets the limits of the "historical trial" with regard to the manifestation of the truth.
For two reasons.
The first: the investigation, the scope of which defies comprehension - the file contains more than a million pages -, offers in accusatory mode a truth to be debated but solidly structured, which is not always the case on terrorism.
