Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced that Russian diplomats working in Ukraine are receiving personal threats.
"There are personal threats to our employees in Ukraine, which are directed against diplomats, administrative and technical staff and members of their families, and the Ukrainian side is periodically informed of all this via protest notes," Zakharova said on her channel via the Telegram application today.
The police of the Lvov region, western Ukraine, announced at the end of last December that an unknown person threw a Molotov cocktail at the fence of the Russian Consulate General, and this did not result in material damage or injuries, while the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Chargé d'Affairs of the Ukrainian Embassy to protest against the attack.
