The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 26 deaths and 1,303 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
And the official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 402,611, and the total number of deaths has reached 22,205.
Abdul Ghaffar pointed out that 1,399 people recovered from the virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovered to 33,6028 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 31 deaths, 1,232 infections with the Corona virus.
