"When we arrived at the scene, we saw fire and smoke in the apartment on the fifth floor, people came out of the building and came to our crews," said Yehuda Marcus, an MDA emergency medicine paramedic. "After inhaling a lot of smoke, she was without signs of life and we have no choice but to determine her death."
