Contagious country: More than two million Israelis have fallen ill in Corona since the outbreak

The number of verified crossed 2 million after the Ministry of Health updated that last night more than 70,000 new patients were diagnosed.

The number of critically ill patients has increased by 35 and now stands at 533. Meanwhile, the ministry has announced that there has been a decline in influenza virus activity

More than 70,000 new verifications were discovered in the last day - the Ministry of Health said today (Wednesday).

In doing so, Israel has crossed the 2 million verified level since the outbreak of the plague.

There are currently 393,786 active patients in the country, of whom 533 are critically ill, including 104 respirators.

Also, 10 verified people died from the virus yesterday, increasing the number of deaths to 8,350 since the outbreak of the corona.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health announced that there has been a decline in influenza virus activity in the country.

The decrease is reflected in a decrease in the number of new hospitalizations added in the past week and a decrease in flu-like morbidity in the community.

This is an early decline compared to previous seasons, and is probably due to the morbidity situation in Corona, which dictates a social distance maintained by the public, absences from schools and workplaces and wearing masks.
