A person died as a result of the breakdown of a private car on the Mazzeh Highway in Damascus.
Brigadier General Jihad Al-Saadi, Director of the Traffic Department, said in a statement to SANA that the Honda Click car collided at night in the Mansif on the Mazzeh Highway, near the Sirtel call center, which led to the death of its driver.
In turn, Brigadier General Daoud al-Amiri, commander of the Damascus Fire Brigade, indicated that a rescue group from the Damascus Fire Brigade and the Traffic Branch patrols immediately came to the place and worked to get the driver out of the car and transported him to the Mowasat Hospital, but he died.
