Mayor of Nuremberg with appeal for vaccination after surviving the infection
König immediately went into domestic isolation after the test.
He did his work in the home office.
He will return to City Hall on December 19th.
As the city of Nuremberg* announced, König only had “very mild” symptoms – a circumstance that the mayor attributes to the booster vaccination.
"I can only appeal to all citizens to get vaccinated or boosted if they haven't already done so," he told

.
“There is currently no better protection against the omicron variant.
I would like to sincerely thank the citizens for the many positive wishes during my isolation.”
OB had to put up with "swearing and malice" in the network
König also received negative feedback on his infection *.
The comments on Instagram and Facebook were mostly positive.
However, there was "malice and swagger" on Twitter.
In addition, conspiracy theories were spread on Telegram.
However, König does not dispute this.
During his isolation period, he posted a photo showing him in a hoodie.
"Stay (corona) negative and think positive!" That was his message.
