Those known as
"Speed Runners"
in the gaming world are players who set themselves one goal: to finish games in the fastest way possible.
This is no easy task, and those talented gamers manage to find loopholes in the game engines that also include exploiting bugs that work in their favor.
As Sonic the Hedgehog said: Gotta Go Fast.
The community's popularity has only grown over the years, and nowadays we have reached a point where the genre has become a kind of industry in itself: and many players compete against each other in games just like in Olympic sports, competing for the shortest end result.
We’ve been privileged to see over the years perfect speed runs on games like Portal 2, Zelda Games, Dark Souls, Mario and so many other unique ways that players reveal their insane skills in the gaming world, but we haven’t expected that yet.

Awesome Game Done Quick
is an organization
that holds annual events where the best speed runners participate in a variety of games, and all donations collected during the same event go directly to various charities, with the year donated to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which invests its energy in researching the disease. And an attempt to save as many patients as possible.
During the event that took place this year we saw some talented players who manage to break world records, like a player who finished Kena: Bridge of Spirirs in 28 minutes, but nothing prepared us for the Speed Runner who finished the game Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice
wearing a blindfold, in two hours and Only 35 seconds.
Watch Speed Runner finish Sekiko with his eyes covered
Yes, you read that right: gamer Mitchriz has finished the game Sekiro, which is considered a particularly tough game - with his eyes completely covered by blindfolds, and is aided by the sound of the game that will give him an indication of what is happening on the screen.
A large part of the skills that Speed Runners rely on are "Muscle Memory" that is embedded in every gamer at one point or another, but Mitchriz takes this to the next level.
He mapped the game to a grid of squares, and played with the keyboard using the WASD keys so that he could count his steps in the most accurate way.
However, when trying to finish a game with a blindfold you must rely on as much concrete information as possible.
This is not the first time Mitchriz has managed to finish the game when he sees nothing, and in December he had a broadcast on his YouTube channel where he finished the game the same way in less than two hours, an hour and fifty-two minutes.
By comparison, a blind Chinese speed runner managed to finish the game in forty-two minutes - and no doubt a player like Mitchriz drew inspiration from a competitor from the Far East to achieve his impressive feat.
