Al-Arabiya news network reported that representatives from Jerusalem met with Sudanese Sovereignty Council President Abd al-Fatah al-Burhan

Al-Arabiya news network reported today (Wednesday) that an Israeli delegation had arrived in the bow of the Sudanese capital and met with the president of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and the head of the country's military government, 'Abd al-Fatah al-Burhan.

According to the report, the delegation took off from Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt and landed in Khartoum early in the morning.

It was also reported that the delegation intends to return to Israel during the night.

The report did not say what the issues were in the conversation, but it is possible that they dealt with the continuation of normalization with Israel, security coordination and economic assistance to the poor country.

The visit comes amid an ongoing political crisis in the African country, which has begun talks on normalization with Israel in the past, and after the popular prime minister, Abdullah Hamduk, resigned following disagreements with ruler al-Burhan.

At least ten civilians have been killed in demonstrations against military rule over the past week, demanding the formation of a civilian government and allowing elections with the participation of all political factions in the country.
