Claude Guéant set for February 7 on his request for release

Nicolas Sarkozy's former interior minister has been imprisoned since December 13 in the Paris Health Remand Prison, pursuant to a 2017 conviction in the so-called "cabinet bonuses" case.


The decision on the request for the release of former Interior Minister Claude Guéant was deliberated on February 7, said Wednesday January 19 a source familiar with the matter, confirmed by the Paris prosecutor's office.
