In response to a number of initial confirmed cases of COVID-19, the government closed Block 3 of Kaihui in Kwun Tong, Fu Yuet House in Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po and Yat Kwai House in Kwai Chung Estate for testing last night.
The government announced this morning that no confirmed cases have been found in the third block of Kaihui.
The authorities said that about 830 residents of Capital Tower 3 had been tested as of 0:00 this morning, and no positive test cases were found.
The government also dispatched personnel to visit about 490 households in the "restricted area", of which about 155 households were not answered during the process, including households who may have been quarantined or isolated, and some units may also be vacant. Further details will be taken to follow up.
A 17-year-old student from St. Joseph's English Middle School at the above site was initially diagnosed and suspected to be related to the pet shop group, but the source of infection is unknown.
