In March, the renovation of the flower street should go into the second round.

The construction work will take eight weeks - and will cause problems for local residents.

– In the autumn of last year, the first construction phase of the renovation and redesign of the flower street between Bahnhofstrasse and Ottenburgstrasse was completed.

Now the construction work is to be continued (second construction phase), starting in March, weather permitting, as the municipality of Eching reports.

The second section extends from the intersection ofblossomstrasse and ottenburgstrasse to the pedestrian crossing at the start of Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse.

“According to the first construction phase, the asphalt surface and the drainage systems will also be renewed here as part of a full expansion.

The sidewalks along the flower street will be widened as far as possible, the roadway will be at least five to 5.50 meters in the future," says the municipality.

In addition to repairing the road, the measure is also intended to increase pedestrian safety.

The work will take about eight weeks.

During this time, the street can only be used by local residents to a limited extent.

"The municipality of Eching and the commissioned company Schelle are trying to minimize the disturbances for the residents," it continues.
