Free vaccination appointments

Free vaccination appointments are available in the vaccination center and during mobile campaigns.

There is a free choice of vaccine on site after medical advice.

The Biontech/Pfizer vaccine is also available to citizens over the age of 30.

The corona numbers are literally exploding, the number of Covid patients in the district clinic, on the other hand, has remained largely stable for a long time, with the hospitalization rate, at least so far, always increasing with some time lag.

The health department reports 451 new infections compared to the previous day, the incidence increases to 820 according to local calculations. Among the newly infected are three returnees and five children from the primary school in Grafrath. The whole class has to be quarantined. In addition, a single student tested positive in a class at a total of seven schools. A positive corona case occurred in two different classes at five other schools. 658 new corona cases became known over the weekend. The seven-day incidence for FFB County is 695.91 per 100,000 people, according to local health department calculations. The cumulative number of positive cases with reasonable suspicion of an infection with the omicron variant is now 758. Among those who tested positive is one returning traveler (Jamaica). In addition, one student is infected in each class at a total of 13 schools. A positive corona case occurred in two different classes at five other schools. One employee in each of three kindergartens tested positive. One child tested positive in five other kindergartens. Update January 14th:

Compared to the previous day, 207 new corona cases have become known. The seven-day incidence for FFB County is 560.61 per 100,000 people, according to local health department calculations. This is the highest incidence the county has ever seen. So far, the peak was 558.65 (on November 17, 2021). The cumulative number of positive cases with reasonable suspicion of an infection with the omicron variant is now 681. Among those who tested positive are four returnees. At a total of nine schools, one individual student in one class and one child in one after-school care center tested positive. In another daycare center, an employee is infected. The number of infected people in the seniors' facility reported on January 7, 2022 due to a major outbreak event,has increased further. There are currently 40 residents and 20 employees who have tested positive. However, the situation can be expected to ease, as the isolation of some residents and employees will soon end, so that they are no longer considered infected, according to the district office.

A total of four senior citizens' facilities are currently affected by corona cases in the district.

Update January 13:

On Thursday, the district office reported 303 new corona cases compared to the previous day.

According to calculations by the local health department, the incidence rose to 507.27 and has thus been above the 500 mark for the first time since November 22nd.

In a total of 635 cases there is reasonable suspicion of infection with the omicron variant.

Compared to the previous day, 185 new corona cases have become known. The seven-day incidence for FFB County is 423.64 per 100,000 people, according to local health department calculations. The cumulative number of positive cases with reasonable suspicion of an infection with the omicron variant is 558. Among those who tested positive are six returnees. At a total of three schools, one student in each class tested positive. A 79-year-old died with Covid findings. Eleven people with Covid findings are treated in the district clinic, three of whom are ventilated. 64.05 percent of the total population in the district are considered to have been vaccinated twice. 40.08 percent received a booster vaccination. New quarantine rules at Omikron

On January 8, 2022, the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care adjusted the quarantine period for certain close contacts.

These quarantine rules also apply to vaccinated and recovered contacts.

People who are classified as close contacts of people who test positive with suspected or confirmed omicron infection are subject to a 10-day quarantine obligation.

It is possible to test yourself free from day 7.

The same quarantine period applies as for other variants of the corona virus.

The general decree of the Fürstenfeldbruck district office on the quarantine of close contacts of index cases with reasonable suspicion with the worrying variant B 1.1.529 Omicron of December 20th, 2021 was therefore lifted.

Testing to end the quarantine early can be done using a PCR test or a rapid antigen test.

The PCR test or the rapid antigen test must be carried out by a medical specialist or a comparable person trained for this purpose.

The early end of the quarantine will only take effect once the negative test result has been sent to the Fürstenfeldbruck district office.

Compared to Friday, 361 new corona infections have become known.

The seven-day incidence for the county is 388.18 per 100,000 people, according to local health department calculations.

The cumulative number of positive cases with reasonable suspicion of an infection with the omicron variant is 431. 34 returnees tested positive, as did a child in a daycare center and three residents of an asylum accommodation in Olching.

The health department reports 208 new corona cases compared to Wednesday. The seven-day incidence for FFB County is 284.5 per 100,000 residents, according to local health department calculations. There are now a total of 369 cases in the district with reasonable suspicion of the omicron variant. Ten returnees tested positive (two from Austria, two from Spain, two from Switzerland, one each from Sweden, Poland, Costa Rica and Bosnia). An employee in a day care center is infected. Two groups have to be quarantined. There was a major outbreak in a retirement home. There are currently 16 residents and five employees who have tested positive. The omicron variant was also detected, according to the district office. A woman (68) died with Covid findings.Nine patients with Covid findings are treated in the district clinic, three of whom need to be ventilated.

The locally calculated seven-day incidence for the Fürstenfeldbruck district rose to 250 from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Dates for children's vaccinations

The Furstenfeldbruck vaccination center carries out vaccination campaigns for children on the weekends in January in cooperation with the volunteer fire brigades of the district. During the first vaccination campaign at the beginning of January at the Furstenfeldbruck fire brigade, 310 children were already vaccinated. The second vaccinations are planned there on January 30th. For children aged five to eleven, an appointment can be booked after registering in BayIMCO by calling the hotline number (08141) 5 19 71 00. The hotline is staffed at the following times and has therefore been increased in terms of staff: Monday (12 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Tuesday (7 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Wednesday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Friday 10 a.m to 6 p.m.), Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The next child vaccination campaigns in the district will take place as follows: January 9 and February 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gernlinden fire brigade (Brucker Str. 7) in Maisach and on January 16 and February 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Alling fire brigade (location to be announced) and on January 23 and February 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moorenweis fire brigade in the gym on Ammerseestraße.

The health department reports 107 new corona infections.

The seven-day incidence for FFB County is 202.27 per 100,000 people, according to local health department calculations.

The total number of suspected Omicron cases that have become known is now 266. Among those who tested positive are 14 returnees (six from France, three from Bosnia, two from Turkey, two from Hungary and one from Italy).

Currently, one resident and three employees in a total of three different senior citizens' facilities have tested positive.

Nine people with Covid findings are treated in the district clinic, three of whom are ventilated.

This means that it refers to all suspected omicron cases that have appeared in the district so far. Most recently, two men aged 85 and 88 died.
