The Minister of Transport, Eng. Zuhair Khuzaym, discussed with the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abbas Hajj Hassan, ways to activate the cooperation relations between the two countries and to confront the repercussions of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria that affect the process of transporting goods and the movement of land and transit cargo.
The two sides discussed the subject of fees applied to the movement of trucks and transit and the mechanisms of transporting goods, where it was agreed to form specialized technical working groups to discuss the topics raised during the current meeting and to prepare the integrated ground to come up with results that serve the interest of the two peoples in the field of transport and trade exchange.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Mohamed Hassan Qatna.
