Boom of quarantined classes in Lombard schools due to Covid infections.
According to the regional monitoring report, as of January 16 there are 5,415 classes in isolation (1,838 in the Milan ATS), for a total of 67,433 pupils and 3,320 operators.
The decrease in the restrictive measures observed in the previous weeks and connected to the closing period for the Christmas holidays is followed by an increase which is evident in all school cycles.
The trend of infections between 10 and 16 January is increasing in almost the entire school population, in particular between 3 and 5 years, while it drops slightly in the 14-18 range.
