A student got into a fight in a Munich bar.

The Zornedinger allegedly claimed to be a police officer himself.

Now he found himself in court.

Ebersberg – A 20-year-old student from Zorneding wanted to celebrate his good grades last June.

So he drove with his friends to a bar in Munich.

Shortly before midnight there was an argument with the security staff, until finally the police were called - because the student allegedly claimed to be a police officer himself.

He had the business cards of two police officers and a police union stamp on a key ring.

Now he was accused of misusing titles, job titles and badges in the Ebersberg district court.

A bouncer explained to the court that the man, who was visibly drunk at the time, should leave the house because of a fight.

The colleague who handed him the student had already warned him about his police statements.

On the way to the exit, Zornedinger kept emphasizing to him that he was a police officer and should not be treated like that.

He even wanted to show the bouncer a police ID card in his wallet: "I gave him ten chances and said I didn't want to see the thing," said the bouncer.

After a discussion that lasted around ten minutes, the security chief finally called the police.

The accused himself explained to the court that another guest had bumped into him and that he had only spoken to him about it.

A security grabbed him by the neck to throw him out.

Because he felt he was being treated unfairly, he referred to his father, a chief inspector.

He wanted to “substantiate” this statement with his business card.

However, he never referred to himself as a police officer.

Finally, judge Dieter Kaltbeitzer temporarily suspended the proceedings by mutual consent.

The Zornedinger had to do social services for the Ebersberg bridge for three days.

The court confiscated business cards and tags.
