There were 16 new cases of new coronary pneumonia and a number of preliminary positive cases in Hong Kong yesterday.
The authorities announced that in response to one local case, two cases related to imported cases, and 10 preliminary positive test cases, 39 specified places have been included in the mandatory testing notice.
The cases involved include patients in the closed areas of Kwun Tong Kaihui and Yat Kwai House in Kwai Chung Estate last night. The locations include many high-traffic restaurants such as APM Food Court and Lok Fu Plaza, as well as many schools and hospitals.

The cases involved in the announcement include a 79-year-old man and a 53-year-old outsourced employee of Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal who were initially diagnosed in Yat Kwai House, Kwai Chung Village.
The Tsuen Wan Smart ID Card Replacement Centre, which the old man visited, the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal, which is believed to be related to the outsourcing work of the cargo terminal, and the E32 bus route to and from the workplace are all on the list.
The Immigration Department also announced that the Tsuen Wan Smart Identity Card Replacement Centre will be temporarily closed on January 20 and 27.
The case involved also includes a 17-year-old male student at Block 3, Kwun Tong Kaihui, suspected of being infected with the Delta Variant Virus.
He attended St. Joseph's English Middle School, visited APM Food Court, Xindu Medical Center and Crocodile Shirt Center in the apartment area, Mr. Niu, as well as Tanzai Yunnan Rice Noodles in Lok Fu Plaza Phase II.
