LONDON - The long distance between Britain and the United States continues to test the relationship between Prince Harry (37) and his family.

Prince Charles invites Meghan and Harry: will they meet again?
Prince Harry's home visits in recent years can be counted on one hand, Duchess Meghan's (40) first trip to England since the royal exit is still pending. So far, the family of four has given London a wide berth, from which heir to the throne Charles in particular is said to suffer. The 73-year-old is reportedly eagerly awaiting his first face-to-face meeting with his granddaughter Lilibet Diana, who was born in June 2021.
To promote a reunion, Charles is said to have turned to his youngest son and his wife with a special invitation.
"The Prince of Wales is saddened that he has not yet had the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, who he truly misses.
He's an amazing grandfather and [...] it's fair to say he feels that without the opportunity to meet Harry's children, there's something missing in his life.
He hopes he can fix that which is why he has offered Harry, Meghan and the kids to stay with him if they want, whenever they come home," a Palace source confided to the British Mirror.

Prince Charles invites Meghan and Harry: No return without police protection
Whether the Sussexes will take up Prince Charles' offer anytime soon is in doubt.
In a letter from a lawyer, Prince Harry recently called for police protection in England and also announced legal action.
The 37-year-old only wants to return to Great Britain when the safety of his family is guaranteed.
This condition could result in Meghan and Harry missing Queen Elizabeth II's 70th jubilee (95), which will be celebrated in June.
