In the question of the policy with which one should go in the education system, like many things in life, the choice is between alternatives, and in this case all the alternatives are bad.

Since we mayors, who are in the field and know and know better than anyone the needs and problems of the citizens, were unfortunately not given the authority to differentiate and localize the corona each according to the nature of the locality and its morbidity, we have the opportunity to express our opinion. , Is the worst alternative of all, especially when it comes to children who feel good, tested and found negative but had to stay in solitary confinement for several days because they were exposed to verified and / or due to lack of staff some of whom were verified or exposed to verified.

In order to reach the optimal solution, one must first set the goal.

Has it been defined at all? I'm not sure at all.

If the goal is to stop the high infection numbers then why not get out of the houses even in the afternoon activities? Why not the decision makers explicitly say that is the goal and maybe in order to achieve it we all had to go into a two week lockout, disable everything, compensate those who need to compensate and lower the number Sticking to these critical two weeks for as low numbers as possible ?!

And if the goal as defined and perhaps not stated too clearly is to continue the routine life without going into closures and keeping the elderly population at risk, then brave decisions need to be made to free children from prolonged and unnecessary stay at home

The heads of the local authorities express the perception of evil in the minority, or if you want the worst of all: children who feel unwell and / or have symptoms - will stay at home until they recover, just like in the days of "routine illness". Children, vaccinated or not, who have been exposed to a person who has been verified, will have a daily check-up in the days following the exposure and if the negative results are learned as usual, if positive, they will stay at home until recovery.

Education staff, some of whom are at increased risk, should therefore be protected. Therefore, even staying in educational institutions during these emergencies, which is not purely pedagogical but is done through youth movement counselors, informal education counselors, volunteers and even conscripts or reservists, is preferable to leaving children at home. .

Take the kids out, too, for a few hours a day, even if for a stay in the schoolyards.
