During the past hours, As-Suwayda Governorate witnessed rain and snowfalls of varying intensity and intensity, with the formation of fog and ice in many areas.
SANA’s reporter stated that the service mechanisms in the governorate began opening some roads and removing the accumulated snow, which led to the traffic being cut off in some of them, indicating that snowfall continues until noon today on the high areas with the formation of snow and thick fog in many areas of the governorate.
A source in the As-Suwayda Traffic Police explained that all roads in the governorate are passable until now, except for the roads of Namira Shahba, Ghayda Namira and Umm Dhabeeb Tema, which are impassable due to the accumulation of snow and ice formation, and that all roads leading to Salkhad area are impassable due to heavy fog.
In this context, the director of the branch of the Syrian Corporation for Bakeries, Alaa Muhanna, confirmed in a statement to SANA that all the needs of the bakeries from flour are secured in the various regions of the governorate to secure the needs of citizens anywhere.
